The Oatman House Restaurant Features
elegant, delicious cuisine in an Historic Landmark home located
in downtown Collinsville, Illinios
Dr. Charles Oatman, a former drummer boy in the Civil
War, had this house built for his family in 1875. A classic
example of Gothic Revival Architecture, this house with its
"gingerbread" trim now stands as an historic landmark
in downtown Collinsville. With an emphasis on preserving the
Victorian decor inside, the Oatman House offers visitors the
opportunity to step back in time to enjoy the quaint atmosphere
of an era gone by. Located on the corner of East Main and
Aurora, we are very easy to locate in Collinsville. You can
dine in and enjoy our well-preserved establishment and beautiful
surroundings while you relax, or call ahead and carry out
some of our crisp salads, soups, and desserts.
