The Oatman House Tea Room is a high-class
tea room (now featured in the August 2008 edition of Victorian
Homes Magazine as one of the top 10 Victorian tea rooms in
the USA) which includes brunch, lunch, or just simply tea
and delicious desserts. We feature more than 80 teapots in
our boutique, and teas ranging from African Autumn to Chamomile
to Spiced Plums. We offer competitive prices on all our breakfast
and lunch items so that you can fill your stomach without

She will offer fine English tea parties and English pastries
at the Tea Room at 501 East Main Street in Collinsville. Private
tea parties in the afternoons can be made by reservation for
groups from 2 to 35.
Dr. Charles Oatman, a former drummer boy in the Civil
War, had this house built for his family in 1875. A classic
example of Gothic Revival Architecture, this house with its
"gingerbread" trim now stands as an historic landmark
in downtown Collinsville. With an emphasis on preserving the
Victorian decor inside, this tea room offers visitors the
opportunity to step back in time to enjoy the quaint atmosphere
of an era gone by. Located on the corner of East Main and
Aurora, we are very easy to locate in Collinsville. You can
dine in and enjoy our well-preserved establishment and beautiful
surroundings while you relax, or call ahead and carry out
some of our crisp salads, soups, and desserts. Don't forget
