The Historic Oatman House Restaurant & Tea Room welcomes English culinary chef, Jane Muscroft of Queen's Cuisine, LLC.

She will offer fine English tea parties and English pastries at the Tea Room at 501 East Main Street in Collinsville. Private tea parties in the afternoons can be made by reservation for groups from 2 to 35.

Dr. Charles Oatman, a former drummer boy in the Civil War, had this house built for his family in 1875. A classic example of Gothic Revival Architecture, this house with its "gingerbread" trim now stands as an historic landmark in downtown Collinsville. With an emphasis on preserving the Victorian decor inside, this tea room offers visitors the opportunity to step back in time to enjoy the quaint atmosphere of an era gone by.
